One World Education’s annual Youth, Culture & Learning Celebration was held on April 28, 2011 and was a huge success! Nearly 200 people attended the event that celebrated the 2011 Student Ambassadors. Including the 2011 student ambassadors and their families, former OWEd student ambassadors, members of DCPS, friends of OWEd and members of the public. The program included speeches from former student ambassadors, readings from our 2011 student ambassadors, a keynote speech from DCPS’s Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Carey Wright, and a closing message from OWEd’s new Board Chair, Glenn Parrillo.
