The 2017 College & Career Senior Challenge was the culminating event for the 2,300 DC seniors who completed the One World Program this year, where they strengthened their research, writing, and presentation skills and produced argumentative essays on self-chosen college and career issues. Nominated seniors presented their arguments to a panel of judges, composed of local civic and education leaders, for the chance to win scholarships for college. In addition, we recognized the work of Student Ambassadors from grades 5 through 12, whose One World essays were nominated by their teachers for publication on our website.
