OWEd Awarded DC Commission on The Arts & Humanities East of The River Grant

One World Education is pleased to announce that it was a recipient of a DC Commission on The Arts & Humanities FY 2014 East of The River Grant, one of the seven grant programs that the DCCAH administers.  The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities provides grants, professional opportunities, education enrichment, and other programs and services to individuals and nonprofit organizations in all communities within the District of Columbia.  The East of the River grant supports access to high-quality arts and humanities experiences for residents living east of the Anacostia River. OWEd will use this grant to help bring its One World Writing Program to three DCPS high schools – Anacostia, Ballou, and HD Woodson.
