Entering its 18th year, One World is planning for its most impactful year in 2025. What’s new?

  1. Expanding the afterschool One World Academy Hubs to impact more students in Ward 7 and 8 and eliminate the travel barriers of a cross-city commute.
  2. Launching a mentor program for high school students to teach younger students and create a cycle of learning and leadership development.
  3. Investing in scholarship awards for the in-school essay writing contest to allow an additional 5,000 DC students the chance to win prizes like the afterschool Academy students.
